Pen makes the picture pop out greatly, but pencils can do sketch very well than pens.

I voted acrylic, but I'll often mix medias. Watercolor-acrylic-pencil or marker-acrylic are good combos. =]

To use, I really like colored pencils. But to look at, acrylic paint. It gives such a nice solid picture. Bold colors are so beautiful in artwork, and it's hard to get the across with just colored pencils. I hope I'll be able to fine tune my skills (or lack of, haha) with acrylics at some point and really take my art to a new level of expression. (/sappy heartfelt revelation)

I chose pen and ink, because sometimes pencil is too light and irritating to work with. Plus, if I make mistakes, I just draw through them. xD
